Safer transport of dangerous goods
Transporting goods from one place to another is not especially difficult. However, doing this safely, economically and with as little negative environmental impact as possible requires knowledge and experience. Especially if dangerous goods are involved.
Carrying both classified and unclassified chemicals, Gösta Johanssons’ tankers have been rolling safely along the roads for over 90 years. To ensure that transport of chemicals is as safe as it can be, we always use the correct equipment and well-trained drivers.

Our thoughts on safety
The transport of dangerous goods imposes stringent requirements on equipment and drivers. There are a large number of laws and safety aspects that must be meticulously respected. Because we work to SQAS guidelines, our customers know we always have safety in focus.
Our work also has to be safe for tomorrow’s generations. We safeguard the environment by for example, running new, eco-friendly road tankers run with EURO 6 engines.
Tanker transport and emptying
Gösta Johanssons Åkeri specialises in transporting chemicals that are classified as dangerous goods. Examples include soda lye, hydrochloric acid, hydrogen peroxide and sodium hypochlorite. We are also authorised to transport dangerous waste from factories to destruction plants.
However, not all the goods we transport are dangerous. We also transport unclassified goods such as sodium silicate. Please contact us if you have any questions about what we transport.
One of our highly appreciated services involves us taking over responsibility for checking levels in end users’ chemical tanks and topping up as necessary.
